Hello!
Wild flower workshop is the work of me, Barbara Smith. I have a love of nature, landscape, beautiful design, colour and craftsmanship. I feel very fortunate to work with what I love.
I'm not a classically trained in floristry, instead, my background is in art and design. This allows me to have confidence in my style and judgement, whilst not being constrained by convention.
Seasonality is key to my practice, I am inspired by the constantly changing landscapes an Scotland and flowers and foliage to be found here. Flowers, like landscape, aren't neat or precise things and I want my work to celebrate that in all it's wild joyfulness!
